To accept, reject or reconsider on issues as follows:-

Issuance of licences or permits for :

Public drinking houses and lounges hotel, inns, motels and lodging houses, food shops, factories and other trades scheduled in the Kuching Municipal Council (Licensing of Miscellaneous Occupations) By-Laws 1961 and Kuching Rural District Council (Licensing of Miscellaneous Occupations] By-Laws.

Snooker saloons, cinemas, mini cinemas and other relevant recreational centres or activities under the provisions of the Kuching Municipal Council (Entertainment) By-Laws, 1961 and Kuching Rural District Council (Entertainment) By-laws , 1965’.

Market stalls, under the provisions of the Kuching Municpal Council (Markets) By-Laws, 1961 and Kuching Rural District Council (Markets) By-Laws, 1965.

Establishment of bands for musical and theatrical performances in public places.

Establishment of animal infirmaries.

B.
|
QUORUM
|
|
|
The attendance shall be 50% of the total number of membership.
|
|
|
In the absence of the chairman, any member appointed by other members of the committee present at the meeting, to preside over the meeting.
|
|
|
In the absence of the chairman, then the chairman appointed among the members shall have an extra vote.
|
