KUCHING: A total of 300 participants joined the Clean Kuching City Run 2024 which started as early as 6 am today with a 4.5-kilometre run distance.

This event was held by the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) in conjunction with the Kuching City Cleanliness Month at Tugu Pahlawan here.

Clean Kuching City Run 2024 is also one of the activities to fuel the Kuching City Cleanliness Month celebration for this year.

One of the efforts and initiatives is to encourage the residents of the city to adopt a healthier lifestyle and strengthen social relations, especially among the local community.

While the event was underway, the running participants did not miss out on joining the aerobics session.

DBKU calls on the residents to join them to ensure that the vibrancy and cleanliness of the city is maintained and preserved towards achieving the goal of making Kuching a Sustainable City.

In addition, among the events during the Cleanliness Month in July are – Cleanliness Month Roadshow, Plogging Walk, Cleanliness Month Expo, Come to the Botanical Garden, Clean Waterway Campaign, Digital Info Hunt and 3K Competition (Cleanliness, Beauty and Example Neighbourhood).
