Special permission to commence building operation:-

Provided under By Laws 9(1)(2)(3) SBO 1994

Special Provision under Sarawak Building Ordinance 1994

The Buildings (Exemption) Order 1996  exempts a person planning to or has built a house from submitting building plan for approval provided the owner reports to Kuching North City Hall regarding the construction by submitting copies of the followings:-

• Name and Identification Card
• Owner’s Address
• Land Title (if relevant)
• Sketch Plan showing the size and  brief specification 
• Any other documents required
