KUCHING: Kuching North City Council (DBKU) has conducted a surprise inspection on premises of DBKU area, in line with the 14-days Movement Control Order (MCO), starting yesterday.
The surprise check was led by Mayor Datuk Junaidi Reduan, together with DBKU officers and Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).
The team visited food premises in the area of Sukma, Matang, Metrocity and Semariang to inspect if the business operators or public were seen not following the movement restriction order.
DBKU also gave out a notice order of temporary closure for business premises under the administration area of DBKU, with only food operators allowing take-aways only.
In addition, DBKU will take strict action against any party not complying with the requirements set by the authority.
